The WhyCare Programme is specifically designed for any professional committed to a holistic performance model where wellbeing and continuous improvement are treated as the foundation for achieving organisational excellence. Why Care Understanding

• 6 x 1/2 day modules

• Modules could be chosen to create a bespoke programme ranging from 2 days for any 4 modules to 3 days for all 6 modules. 

Module 1:  Why Care about the Brain

•To understand the neuroscience of wellbeing

•To discover the neuroscience of increasing wellbeing and thriving at individual and team level (growth mindset, self-compassion, trust and psychological safety)

•To understand what detracts from wellbeing and thriving (stress, trauma and burnout)

•To explore why wellbeing and psychological capacity matter for individual and team thriving and organisational performance

Module 2:  Why Care about Thriving Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB)

•To understand why DEIB is foundational for wellbeing

•To explore the role of culture and systems in creating DEIB cultures where people can thrive

•To assess your organisation’s current strengths and opportunities with regards to thriving culture of DEIB

Module 3:  Why Care about Thriving Individuals?

•To gain an understanding of the Why Care model and the link between individual wellbeing and organisational performance

•To understand the 10 elements of psychological wellbeing and assess current strengths and opportunities for development

•To know and practice how to positively impact psychological wellbeing using thriving plans

•To understand individual and workplace factors which impact individual wellbeing

Module 4:  Why Care about Thriving Leaders?

•To understand the knowledge, skills and behaviours of thriving leaders (Emotional Intelligence, Trust & Psychological Safety, Coaching approach)

•To assess current strengths and opportunities for development against these knowledge, skills and behaviours

•To explore and practice how to use leader thriving plans

Module 5:  Why Care about Thriving Teams?

•To understand why teams matter for individual and collective wellbeing

•To consider how teams can build thriving cultures of high trust and psychological safety

•To assess team thriving considering team culture, workplace hazards and behaviours

•To explore and practice how to use team thriving plans

Module 6:  Why Care about Thriving Organisations?

•To understand the importance of a systems approach for organisational wellbeing and thriving

•To explore the importance of behaviours for creating thriving organisations and how to create and measure KBIs – Key Behavioural Indicators

•To assess the organisation’s current strengths and opportunities for development

•To explore and practice how to use organisational thriving plans
