Rest is something that is essential to our wellbeing but can sometimes feel elusive and unsupported. Perhaps you or your team are feeling exhausted, stretched to capacity, burnt out or feeling chronically stressed. Deep Rest can be delivered as an hour long session to downregulate, rest and restore. Or it could be delivered as a deeper dive into understanding rest and how to disrupt unhelpful patterns of productivity and burn out culture within your workplace.
Deep Rest reimagines embodying rest as a cornerstone of building resilience in our individual nervous systems and our collective communities.
This offering is a blend of practical tools, education, individual and reflective practices.
These sessions will cover:
- Psycho education on the nervous system, burnout, sleep
- Exploring rest from a spiritual, political, social justice and embodied perspective
- Somatic (body based) practices: restorative yoga, somatics, vagus nerve toning, yoga nidra
- Seasonal and cyclical wisdom
- For the individual: Reflection practices on how to weave rest into your life.
- For our collective: Reflections on how your workplace can create a culture of care and support a rested team environment.
