International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day (IWD) takes place on 8th March and the theme for 2026 is ‘Give To Gain’ focusing on fostering a mindset of generosity and collaboration.
When people, organisations, and communities give generously, opportunities for women multiply. Giving isn’t subtraction – it’s intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.
This year’s Give To Gain campaign encourages us to share knowledge, resources, and support to create workplaces where women can develop and help others grow.
Whether through mentoring, advocacy, training, visibility, or time, every contribution matters.
Why it matters
- Professional development is a game-changer for retention, engagement, and leadership diversity.
- Encouraging generosity in the workplace fosters collaboration and inclusion.
- Supporting women’s growth benefits everyone – teams become stronger, innovation increases, and organisational culture improves.
